The NDSF is at all times open to scrutiny by Parliament, the National Audit Office other relevant authorities and by the media.
The Fund publishes audited accounts on an annual basis and reports on its activities regularly to the Office of the Minister for Citizenship and to the Minister for Finance at least once a year.
The audited accounts and the annual report of the Fund are laid on the table of the House of Representatives by the Minister for Finance.
The Fund adheres to the Santiago Principles which promote transparency, good governance, accountability and prudent investment practices whilst encouraging a more open dialogue and deeper understanding of the activities of Sovereign Wealth Funds.
The Board of Governors of the Fund ensure that all accountability and transparency obligations resulting from the founding regulations are strictly adhered to.
